This project was the construction of a new 40,000 SF manufacturing facility for Teledyne Brown Engineering on their Huntsville, AL campus. TBE performs military and aerospace testing and manufacturing. In addition to high-bay manufacturing space covered with overhead bridge cranes, the building includes a breakroom and restrooms. The project included site preparation over an existing parking lot and buildings that were demolished. The building sat on conventional spread footings, had a pre-engineered metal building frame, and an insulated metal panel skin including roof panels. Complete electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems were provided, including a sprinkler system complete with fire pump and emergency generator.
