Summary

Dunn Building Company has been selected by Tractor & Equipment Company to design and construct its 11,000 SF Parts Warehouse and Showroom in unincorporated Shelby County, Alabama near the Shelby County Airport. The building will be a Pre-Engineered Metal Building constructed on a 1.56 acre site located between Highway 87 and I-65. Site improvements will include approximately 20,000 SF of Concrete Paving, 1,580 SY of Heavy-Duty Asphalt Paving, Concrete Curb & Gutter, Concrete Sidewalks at the building entrance and a small amount of landscape where required. The rear of the building will have a covered Loading Dock equipped with a 30,000# Hydraulic Dock Leveler. The interior of the building will be divided into approximately 5,818 SF of Warehouse space and 5,182 SF of Showroom / Office / Conference Room / Restrooms / IT Room / and Mechanical Room. The Showroom will be finished with painted gyp. board walls, black anodized aluminum framed partition walls, polished concrete floors and rubber base. The entry will be black anodized aluminum storefront. The ceiling will be open and have exposed spiral ductwork and suspended LED Lighting. The Warehouse will have sealed concrete floors and an exposed structure equipped with LED lighting, wall-mounted ventilation, gas heat, and a high-volume low-speed fan. Two motorized overhead doors will be installed at the Warehouse exterior, and one motorized overhead door will be installed in the partition wall separating the Warehouse and Showroom. Construction is scheduled to start 11/01/2020 and be completed by 04/23/2021.
