Dunn Building Company was the design-build contractor for the University of Alabama Automotive Services Building. This facility was a new construction upgrade of the existing Automotive service facility on University of Alabama campus. This design-build project teamed Dunn Building Company with Ghafari Associates as architect, Pinnacle as the mechanical engineer, Hyde as the Electrical engineer, and LBYD as the structural engineer. The facility is approximately 17,000 SF, slab on grade with a Pre-Engineered Metal Building structure and includes garage services bays and office area with part storage integrated. All the service equipment was provided and installed per this contract as well as the apron drives and were poured with a fiber concrete mix. All interior spaces will be fully finished with millwork furnished and installed as well.
