The TEC Showroom & Classroom Addition Project includes approximately 10,000 SF of new structure adjoining the existing Warehouse and Office. The addition is conventional steel framed including open-web bar joists and metal decking, and is clad with Tilt-Up Concrete Wall Panels that will be cast on site. Featured in the tilt-up panels are elements of in-laid thin brick that will be cast into the concrete panels, and black anodized aluminum storefront framing and glass. The remainder of the tilt-up panels will be coated with a textured paint system. The interior of the addition includes a large Classroom that can be divided into two smaller sections by means of modular folding partitions, a Training Shop that is set up as a typical maintenance / repair shop complete with a 5-Ton Bridge Crane, a Showroom / Museum / Parts Sales area, new offices, toilets, and kitchen built out in a portion of the existing Warehouse, and renovation of the existing Parts Sales area. The exterior includes a concrete paved ramp and patio, concrete sidewalks, new asphalt paved parking lot, and new landscaping / irrigation. Construction began on November 14, 2022 and is expected to be completed by October 31, 2023.
